Aqua Cure have won a potentially significant order: for their new range of N-UV ultra violet sterilisers to be supplied to Virgin Trains. Two of the 24 watt versions of the stainless steel UV steriliser will be specified for each of the diesel fleet’s 15 catering carriages on the East Coast Mainline.
All water used for on-board catering appliances will be treated by the systems on the journeys between Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, London and Leeds.

The contract is extremely promising for Aqua Cure, the successful introduction of their U.V. systems on the east coast diesel line potentially provides an opportunity to quote for the electric fleet when the contract for the supply of U.V. systems comes up for renewal soon and to work further with Virgin East Coast at their Craigentinny rail depot in Edinburgh.
You don’t get a parade of kilted pipers marching past your stand at many of the trade exhibitions Aqua Cure Scotland attend – and that’s just one of the reasons that Aqua Cure Scotland consider the Royal Highland Show a bit special.
The show took place at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, Edinburgh from Thursday 20th June to Sunday 23rd June and was attended by more than 170,000 visitors (almost 9,500 up on the previous year).
Aqua Cure Scotland are very pleased to be part of this show and attend every year to make and maintain contacts and to promote their services, particularly in the area of private water supply. Interest in the products Aqua Cure Scotland exhibited (including ultra violet sterilisers and sanitisers as well as the aforementioned private water supply systems) was very high and they are already looking forward to next year.
